Pep Guardiola laments Bayern Munich's Supercup loss to Wolfsburg

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola lamented his side conceding a late equaliser which ultimately saw them lose on penalties to Wolfsburg in the German Cup final.
Niklas Bendtner scored a last-gasp equaliser and the winning penalty kick in Wolfsburg's first ever German Cup final victory.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola said his side "did everything we could to win the match" after their dramatic late Supercup defeat to Wolfsburg.

Last season's runaway Bundesliga champions led through Arjen Robben until the 89th minute, when Nicklas Bendtner snatched an equaliser.

And Bendtner struck the decisive shootout penalty as Wolfsburg, runners-up to Bayern in the league, lifted the trophy with a 5-4 spot-kick triumph after the 1-1 draw.

Bayern Munich lost their third straight German Super Cup under manager Pep Guardiola, going down 5-4 in Wolfsburg in a dramatic penalty shootout.
