Chicharito dedicates goal to Jalisco, Mexico after Hurricane Patricia

Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez has dedicated his latest goal to those in Mexico who endured a Category 5 hurricane late Friday and early Saturday morning.

The Mexican international was born and raised in Guadalajara, the capital of the Jalisco state which was hit hardest by Hurricane Patricia, and took to Twitter to demonstrate that his goal in Leverkusen's 4-3 come-from-behind defeat of Stuttgart on Saturday was for them, as well as all of Mexico.

"This goal is for all the people from my beautiful Jalisco and all of Mexico," the striker tweeted after the match. "I wish you all the best during these times."

Chicharito has been on a scoring streak of late, netting three times in Leverkusen's past two games, including a brace in the German side's 4-4 Champions League draw with Roma midweek.
