Champions Bayern Munich will kick off the new season at home to Hamburg on Aug. 14.
The runaway Bundesliga winners, who finished 10 points ahead of second-placed Wolfsburg, will be strong favourites to get off to a triumphant start against opponents who avoided relegation in the playoffs.
Wolfsburg start their season against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Volkswagen Arena -- the first time they have opened with a home game since 2009.
Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, play host to Borussia Monchengadbach in the "Borussia derby."
While Dortmund -- now without coach Jurgen Klopp -- fell well short of expectations in finishing seventh, Gladbach came third and qualified for the Champions League for the first time in their history.
Newly promoted Ingolstadt travel to Mainz for their first-ever Bundesliga match, while the other promoted team, Darmstadt 98, welcome Hannover 96.
In other fixtures, Bayern host Dortmund on the first weekend of October, with the return being played early next March.
