Ibrahima Traore comes up against his former club this Sunday, hoping to make it three wins out of three for Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Guinea international joined the Foals from Stuttgart this summer and he has already been involved in victories in the DFB-Pokal and the Europa League.

A hat-trick of wins would crown a perfect start to the season, but Traore has warned not to under-estimate his former colleagues.

``We can be happy with the way the season has started so far and now we want to start the Bundesliga season with a win if possible,'' he said on his club's website.

``Stuttgart are going to be highly motivated and keen to make amends for their DFB-Pokal elimination.

``I can't wait for my first competitive match in the Borussia Park Stadion.''

Traore is not the only one set to make his first appearance on home soil with Andre Hahn, who netted against Sarajevo on Thursday and in Homberg last weekend, also set to take his Bundesliga bow for his new employers this Sunday.

While the hosts come into the game buoyed by back-to-back wins, their guests already have their backs to the wall after being knocked out of the DFB-Pokal last weekend.

According to their coach Armin Veh, they need to take a leaf out of Gladbach's book.

``They have done a great job in recent years and they are a bit of a role model for us,'' he said.

Gladbach rose from near relegation in 2011 to finish fourth the following year, but Veh is not saying his side will necessarily emulate that.

``If we finish 10th or 11th, then that would be a good season for us, even if there are a few people who will not want to hear that,'' he said.

``I know the league well and we've got to be realistic about where we are at.''

Only Daniel Didavi is a doubt for Veh, who already knows that Adam Hlousek is not going to be available due to a muscular injury.
