Thomas Tuchel said he would like to stay on as Borussia Dortmund manager next season, though he felt "completely dead" after securing the DFB Pokal title on Saturday.

Dortmund needed a strong finish to the season to secure third place in the Bundesliga and qualify for the Champions League group stage, leaving doubts about Tuchel's future with the club.

Guillermo Varela is upset at Eintracht Frankfurt's treatment of him.

Guillermo Varela has hit back at Eintracht Frankfurt after he was suspended and fined by the club for getting a tattoo against the coach's wishes.

Frankfurt said on Wednesday that the 24-year-old Varela defied Niko Kovac on Monday when he got a tattoo that became infected.

He played in the side's last four league games and was likely to feature on Saturday in the DFB Pokal final before he got the infection.

Daniel Farke guided Borussia Dortmund II to a second-place finish in Regionalliga West this season.

Norwich have named Borussia Dortmund II boss Daniel Farke as their new head coach.

Farke has signed a two-year deal with the Championship club after guiding Dortmund's reserve team to a second-place finish in Regionalliga West this season, losing only three matches in the process.

The 40-year-old follows in the footsteps of Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner, who left his role as Dortmund II boss for the Championship in 2015. Farke succeeded Wagner at Dortmund after a six-year spell with Lippstadt.
