  • Pavel Sitko 28'

1 - 3

  • Steven Gerrard 11'
  • Wayne Rooney 50'
  • Wayne Rooney 74'
  • 94'

Well. You can't argue with statistics and England have won four games out of four scoring 15 goals. We'd have settled for that eh? It wasn't perfect, far from it, but in flashes they were very, very good. What a nice way to end competitive internationals before a six month break. Thanks for your company.

  • 93'

SWP tries to beat nine men and score. It doesn't work.

  • 92'

Becks eventually swings it in but Zhevnov gathers.

  • 91'

Lampard releases Becks, who manages to get to the byline and dig out a cross but it is over Crouch. Corner though.

  • 90'

    Four minutes added...

  • 90'

Belarus change now, Alexander Hleb's younger brother Vyacheslav comes on, Stasevich is off.

  • 89'

Now SWP on the left, Becks on the right. I make it five England players who have filled the left sided slot so far in the game.

  • 88'

Two-goal hero Rooney off, Beckham on to much applause.

  • 87'

My word! You HAVE to see that. Gerrard bursts through, rounds the keeper and misses an open goal from the angle of the six yard box by hitting the post! Did I just see that?!

  • 86'

Gerrard misses an open goal from five yards! Chris Iwelumo eat your heart out! Amazing!

  • 85'

Oooh, I can hardly contain my excitment! Becks is stripping!

  • 84'

Rooney's petulance spills over after he kicks Omelyanchuk. Steady on now Wayne.

  • 83'

Now Barry bottles a 50/50 challenge. What's wrong with these lads?!

  • 82'

Well up Wes Brown. He rises to nod Sitko's cross away from danger as Fabio still bellows out the instructions from the touchline.

  • 80'

Well in Wayne Bridge after a good give and go between Bulyga and Radionov.

  • 79'

    Croatia winning 4-0 against Andorra.

  • 78'

Well, what another funny England game. In patches they've been irresistable, in other parts pathetic. But if they keep winning, who cares?

  • 77'

Belarus change, Strakhanovich on for Kutuzov.

  • 76'

A particularly loud rendition of the national anthem is not welcomed by the partisan home crowd.

  • 74'

Great move. Inside ball from Bridge, Rooney dummies then receives a slide rule pass from Gerrard before slotting home. Excellent.

  • 74'

    GOAL! Rooney! Game over!

  • 73'

Decent chance for England as Crouch wins the flick, Rooney feeds SWP then gets it back but has his shot blocked. More gaps opening up.

  • 71'

Heskey has an icepack immediately strapped to his hamstring, thus explaining the second substitution.

  • 70'

Another change, the excellent Emile Heskey off for Peter Crouch

  • 69'

SWP goes to the right, as you'd expect, but England still have a bit of a hole on the left. Belarus haven't done enough to exploit that so far.

  • 68'

    SWP on for Walcott.

  • 67'

Changes. Radionov on for Putsilo for Belarus.

  • 66'

Rooney twists and tries to find Gerrard in the area but Zhevnov is out to claim.

  • 65'

Good combination from Lamps and Barry releases Gerrard but his ball for Heskey was too strong. Shame, it could have been three.

  • 63'

Shaun Wright-Phillips is about to come on.

  • 62'

Croatia are 2-0 up on Andorra in tonight's other Group Six game by the way.

  • 60'

Heskey wins a free kick. Bit of a lull in the game.

  • 59'

Rooney makes amends for a sloppy mistake by hacking the ball out of danger after losing it.

  • 57'

England are operating a rotation policy on the left now. At times it is Barry, then Gerrard, then Heskey and occasionally, Rooney.

  • 56'

    Brown catches Sitko. Free kick.

  • 55'

DOn't forget there is a SIX-MONTH break in World Cup qualifying after this game. How sweet to get to the lay-off with four wins from four.

  • 53'

England's fans belt out: "There's only one Emile Heskey...." Rightly so.

  • 52'

Bridge's hopeful ball breaks for Rooney but he can't turn it back for Heskey to repay the favour. Unusually poor from Travis Bickle.

  • 51'

    Emile Heskey. Legend.

  • 50'

A brilliant, brilliant run from Heskey who beats his man, waits for Rooney to get back onside and then squares it to slaphead for a tap in. Great stuff.

  • 50'

    GOAL! Rooney!

  • 48'

A sizzling run from Rooney ends with him beating two men and trying to bend a shot in the corner but it lacked power. Bright start from England.

  • 47'

Walcott picks up on a Molosh mistake and could have been round the back but for a horrendous touch that takes the ball out for a goal kick.

  • 46'

    We begin again..

  • 45'

Half time. A strange 45 minutes with England on top at the beginning and end, but utterly overrun in the middle bit. See you in 15 minutes...

  • 44'

    Filipenko fouls Gerrard. Free kick.

  • 43'

Walcott stole onto an overhit Bridge cross but his chest control was poor and the chance is lost.

  • 41'

A cute flick from Rooney plays in Walcott but a great challenge from Filipenko prevents a very dangerous situation for the hosts.

  • 40'

Heskey flicks on for Walcott and once again he bottles a 50/50 tackle - with the keeper this time. Get stuck in lad!

  • 39'

Barry's chip for Rooney is too strong and Ferdinand continues to look a little uncomfortable.

  • 38'

Ferdinand is limping after a clip from Bulyga as another England move breaks down.

  • 37'

Lamps smacks it and Zhevnov gathers low down.

  • 36'

Omelyanchuk chops Heskey in half and doesn't even get a booking. Unbelievable. Horrible tackle. England free kick 35 yards out.

  • 35'

Its all still too tight for England in midfield and there are too few options for those in possession.

  • 33'

Heskey wins Lampard's corner and flicks a header into the side netting. His 50th cap tonight. He's scored five goals. Says it all really.

  • 32'

A better passage of play from England, Walcott to Rooney, to Lampard and then Bridge wins the corner.

  • 31'

Barry knocks the ball out of play, summing up England's last 20 minutes.

  • 30'

An excellent passage of play from Belarus and a superb goal. England could see that coming a mile off but seemed powerless to stop it. As soon as Gerrard scored they stopped playing.

  • 28'

Brilliant play from Stasevich, who bamboozles Bridge and delivers an inch perfect ball to the far post where Sitko nods home from close range. It had been coming, and was thoroughly deserved.

  • 28'

    GOAL! Sitko! Belarus level!

  • 26'

Great work from Emile Heskey, turning Filipenko inside out and clipping in a delightful ball to the back post that Rooney can only nod wide from a tight angle. Top stuff from the Wigan man.

  • 25'

Rooney lucky not to get booked after chucking the ball away when penalised. Now now, temper temper.

  • 24'

Another neat move sees Sitko swing his unfancied right foot inside the area. The ball squeaks out for a goal kick though.

  • 23'

Kutuzov nearly gets in on goal after England react slowly to a loose ball. What's happened to the midfield four?!

  • 22'

England have completely surrendered the initiative now and if they don't get a grip this game will be level before you know it.

  • 21'

Putsilo gets a yellow card for an awful stomping, studs-up challenge on Frank Lamaprd. My word, that should have been a red. Awful tackle. Lamps is up and on with it though.

  • 19'

Gerrard sloppily gives the ball straight to Kulchy and Putsilo fires in another effort that James saves well. Belarus on top since the goal. Always the way that isn't it?

  • 18'

Gerrard is clipped by Stasevich but the ref waves play on.

  • 17'

James fumbles again as Sitko lets one rip from the edge of the box. It was travelling, and swerving a little too.

  • 15'

Brown loses a straight race with Sitko and is thankful to Bridge who clears the cross. Bit sloppy from England that.

  • 14'

Molosh tries his luck again and it bounces just in front of him but the keeper manages to cling on before Kutuzov gets there.

  • 13'

Smashing. Drifting in from the left wing Gerrard hit that so sweetly the keeper didn't stand a chance. Cracking placement, and celebrated like he'd scored for Liverpool!

  • 12'

Rooney brings the ball down, Gerrard runs on to it and places a precise shot into the far corner from 25 yards out. Brilliant. Debate over?!

  • 12'

    GOAL! Gerrard! Belter!!

  • 11'

Bridge gives the ball away but Lampard retrieves, then Brown tries to feed Walcott down the left but he bottles a challenge with Kulchy.

  • 10'

Lampard hoofs in another free-kick and Heskey wins the ball easily but no-one can profit from his flick.

  • 8'

Walcott swings in a decent looking ball and Rooney protests that he was pulled back by Molosh. He was, but not enough for a pen probably.

  • 7'

England try to build but Gerrard drifts out to the right leaving no ball on for Bridge when he gets it. Flaws in the plan already.

  • 6'

First nasty tackle on Walcott comes from the left back Omelynachuk. Free kick. Wasted.

  • 5'

Molosh fires in a shot that James holds comfortably, then Walcott breaks forward before crossing marginally behind Rooney.

  • 4'

Referee buys a big dive from Bulyga after a clumsy tackle from Upson. Come on fella, get a grip.

  • 3'

Now Bridge bursts down the left before he is cut off with Molosh. As Belarus regain possession Lampard, Gerrard, Heskey and Bsrry snap at their heels.

  • 2'

Wayne Bridge stands up well as Sitko runs at him. First taste for the Chelski left-back.

  • 1'

    We're off...

The decrepit Dinamo Stadium looks suitably imposing tonight, especially with 40,000 fans crammed into it. A fervent and intimidating atmosphere awaits England. Won't be any worse than the stick they got at Wembley on Saturday though.

And the Belarus line-up: Zhevnov, Kulchiy, Filipenko, Omelyanchuk, Molosh, Bulyga, Sitko, Kutuzov, Putilo, Stasevich and Verkhovtsov. Subs from: Korytko, Strakhanovich, V. Hleb, Rodionov, Veremko, Sosnovski and Pavlov.

The big news for Belarus is that talisman Alexander Hleb is out injured. That's a big blow for coach Bernd Stange who described Hleb as their Maradona, Beckenbauer or Pele. Little bit of a massive miss then eh?

Saturday was a funny old game, with England managing to win 5-1 against Kazakhstan but somehow not looking at all convincing - even discounting Ashley Cole's error. Still, Fabio will take unconvincing, 5-1 wins every time. Who wouldn't?

So, Wayne Bridge gets his first competitive start with England for 11 months, and that just after seven minutes of Premier League action for Chelsea this season. Hmmm. No matter though, he lines up alongside Matthew Upson who looked steady as a rock on Saturday didn't he? What do you mean no?!

Wibble comes shortly but team news first and England make one change, namely Wayne Bridge for the heavily booed Ashley Cole. We hear Gerrard will play wide left again, as Walcott retains his right sided berth. Lamps and Barry in the middle.

Good evening one and all and welcome to live coverage of England v Belarus with me, Chris Murphy.

Join us at 1930 GMT to see if England can make it four out of four in World Cup Qualifying Group Six, against Belarus in Minsk.
