Game 14

  • Kader Mohamed 31'

South Korea will have to play better in future and they look way short of the team that reached the semi-final four years ago...but they are in a great position to progress from the group phase.

Togo started the game well and it was the sending off that changed the match. Korea's change of tactics and numerical advantage proved too much for the Africans.

  • 90'

Tchangai gets booked and from the freekick - in the same position from where Chun-Soo scored - Korea play the ball short and keep possesion. The crowd boo but the final whistle blows and they have won!

  • 89'

Chun-Soo and co are happy to play the ball around in the midfield, until the striker breaks into the box and shoots across the face of goal.

  • 88'

Aziawonou makes high challenge on Park and more time ticks away as Korea take a slow, short freekick.

  • 87'

Romoa wins a freekick in a dangerous position with a clever turn. The delivery is just too heavy and drifts out of play despite Adebayor's despairing lunge.

  • 85'

Togo make a final roll of the dice and make a late change. Salifou, who has ran himself into the ground, is replaced by Aziawonou.

  • 84'

Korea break from a Togo corner (a poor header from Adebayor) but Chong-Gug gives the ball straight back to Togo.

  • 83'

Korea make another change. Striker Jae-Jin goes off and is replaced by Sang-Sik - a straight swap.

  • 81'

Park's cross is behind all his advancing team-mates and a promising move breaks down.

  • 80'

The South Korean's are just happy to keep the ball now. That's all they need to do to secure what looked like an unlikely win earlier in the game.

  • 78'

Adebayor is looking lazy now. He keeps getting caught offside and giving Korea a freekick when his own team needs to keep possession.

  • 76'

Salifou is still posing a threat for Togo. He sprints out of his own half but his one-two with Adebayor breaks down in a dangerous position.

  • 75'

South Korea to win, with bet365
    Togo to win, with bet365

  • 73'

Park lifts the ball over the Togo defence for Jung-Hwan, who shoots form close range and is thwarted by a good save from Agassa. The floodgates could open here...

  • 72'

A great finish by Jung-Hwan and that must surely mean heartbreak for Togo.

  • 71'

Jung-Hwan is left in space on the edge of the box. He turns and shoots from 20-yards and watches his effort loop over Agassa and into the back of the net. GOAL!!!

  • 70'

Chun-Soo crosses. Jae-Jin wins the header in the box but can't direct his effort on target. Korea knocking on the door but can't find the back of the net.

  • 69'

Chong-Gug weighs up his options and chooses the wrong one as he smashes a long-range shot over the bar. He had plenty of support to pass to.

  • 67'

Korea make a change in midfield. Off goes Ho Lee and on comes Nam-Il.

  • 66'

Mohamed breaks quickly for Togo and wins a freekick in Korea's half to earn a break from the pressure.

  • 65'

Park finds space for a shot on the edge of the box, but his effort is tame and trickles through to the keeper.

  • 64'

Salifou picks up the ball in midfield, rides three challenges, plays a one-two with Adebayor and hits a shot over the bar. A great move from Togo.

  • 63'

Toure breaks down the right and Korea struggle to clear the danger. Salifou latches on to the ball but panics and hits his shot well over the bar.

  • 61'

Forson comes on to replace Assemoassa for Togo. A striker for a defender - odd choice when down to ten men.

  • 60'

South Korea to win, with bet365
    Togo to win, with bet365

  • 60'

Assemoassa is down injured and being stretchered off. Doesn't look like he will be coming back on - Togo down to nine men at the moment.

Togo really under pressure now as the defence drops deeper and deeper.

Togo have paid a heavy price in the last few minuites and the momentum has switched to Korea, who have pulled level at 1-1.

  • 53'

Chun-Soo stands over the free-kick and whips his shot up and over the wall and into the top corner. GOAL!!!

  • 52'

Park bursts through the Togo defence and Abalo is forced to hack him down. He has already been booked and the defender is off. Togo down to ten men.

  • 51'

Mohamed is down injured and Korea put the ball out of play so he can get treatment. The ref won't allow the physio on and the players gets up.

  • 50'

Assemoassa bets Chun-Soo down the flank and the Korean pulls him back and gets booked for the foul.

  • 48'

Mohamed is on the burst again and muscles past his defender to get make room for a shot, which Woon-Jae saves at his near post.

  • 47'

Korea are trying to get Jung-Hwan into the game as early as possible.

  • 46'

Korea get the second-half underway and make one change. defender Jin-Kyu is replaced by striker Jung-Hwan.

South Korea have been disappointing but they pressed towards the end of the half and will be looking to continue that into the second-half.

The ref blows for half-time and World Cup debutants Togo have a 1-0 lead at the break.

  • 45'

Togo under a bit of pressure as the half draws to a close but so far they have held firm.

  • 39'

Eul-Yong beats his marker with some fancy foot work and smashes a long-range shot into the waiting arms of Agassa.

  • 38'

Korea are responding well to going a goal down but can't deliver a good final ball - as highlighted by Chun-Soo's poor cut-back from the right flank.

  • 36'

Park collects the ball and manages to squeeze a pass through four defenders to Jae-Jin on the right. The striker cuts inside but hits his shot high and wide from the edge of the box.

Chun-Soo wins a corner and takes it himself. He delivers a good cross, flicked on by Jin-Kyu and cleared by the Togo defence.

    Togo to win, with bet365

  • 29'

Jin-Kyu steps out of defence to halt Mohamed's driving run and gets injured for his pains.

The crowd are the most exciting thing about this match at the moment. The South Korean's are out in force.

  • 24'

Korea's front three are beginning to swarm over Togo's defence but as yet nothing to inspiring.

  • 23'

..the defender's shot, from over 30-yards, swerves away from goal and goes harmlessly past the post.

  • 15'

South Korea to win, with bet365
    Togo to win, with bet365

  • 7'

Seneya is all over the pitch at the moment and he fires or the first shot of the match - a poor effort from 30-yards the trickles through to the keeper.

  • 6'

Adebayor wastes possession and Young-Pyo brings Korea forward. Eul-Yong fouls Senaya in the centre of the pitch as Korea lose possession.

  • 5'

Arsenal's Adebayor gets his first real touch but it comes to nothing. No real chances so far in the match...but plenty of probing.

  • 4'

Senaya loks a real livewire for Togo. He loves to run at defenders and has already tested the Korean defence - who have been up to the task so far.

  • 3'

Senaya tests the Korea defence with his pace down the flank. Young-Pyo clears the danger and wins a croner off Tchangai.

  • 2'

Young-Pyo wins a free on the left after a quick dart down the line. The delivery arrives and is scrambled behind after and in swinging freekick.

  • 1'

Togo, wearing yellow shirts, kick-off - playing from right to left.

Togo have their manager back, after a dispute over money, and it will be interesting to see how they cope with that as well as with their debut at the World Cup.

It's started badly.....The Korean anthem was played twice and now the mascots are charging off before the Togo anthem has been played.

It's the match you have all been waiting for...South Korea v Togo, clash of the giants.
