Eviant-Lorient rescheduled for Wednesday after snow postponement
Evian's postponed home match against Lorient has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, the Ligue de Football Professionnel has announced.
The two relegation-threatened sides were due to meet last Saturday, but the Parc des Sports d'Annecy encounter was postponed after heavy snowfall in the Haute-Savoie region.
"The postponed Week 26 clash between Evian-Thonon-Gaillard and FC Lorient has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 4, at 19:00 CET [18:00 GMT],'' a statement on the Ligue 1 website read.
Evian, who are 18th in the standings, travel to bottom side Metz on Saturday, while 16th-placed Lorient host Bastia on the same day.
