Lyon stun Bordeaux in injury time

Henri Bedimo and Corentin Tolisso both scored in injury time as Lyon hit back from a goal down to claim a 2-1 victory at Bordeaux, who were denied the chance to claim their fourth consecutive home win.

Sat: PSG edge past Bastia

Henri Saivet's opener looked like giving the hosts all three points but the game was turned on its head in three sensational stoppage time minutes.

Firstly, Bedimo and Jimmy Briand combined well before the latter sent the ball beyond Cedric Carrasso for what seemed like the goal that would secure a point.

But then Miguel Lopes picked out Tolisso inside the area and he headed beyond Carrasso ahead of incredible scenes at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.

The win lifted Lyon up into fifth, three points off a Europa League place and seven points adrift of Lille who occupy the final Champions League place after they maintained their foothold on third with a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Montpellier.

With less than 20 minutes played the hosts made the all important breakthrough when Florent Balmont swung in a perfect free kick for Marko Basa to head beyond Geoffrey Jourdren from 12 yards.

The second came when Pape Souare found David Rozenhal from a corner and, despite Simon Kjaer's prematch replacement findng the crossbar with his header, Nolan Roux was on hand to acrobatically volley home the rebound.

A first defeat on the road for Montpellier since November meant Rolland Courbis' side missed out on the chance to move above Nice into 11th.

Lorient put an end to a dismal run of six games without in win with a dramatic 1-0 win over high-flying St Etienne.

Jeremie Aliadiere's 90th-minute penalty was enough to steal all three points form their fourth-placed opponents and hand Christian Gourcuff's men only their second win of the year.

Josua Guilavogui handled inside the area and referee Nicolas Rainville pointed at the spot. Aliadiere took charge and blasted the ball straight down the middle of the goal.

St Etienne had been hoping to keep pace with Lille with their first ever win at the Stade du Moustoir but defeat for Christophe Gaultier's team left a huge dent in their Champions League qualification aspirations.
