Zlatan Ibrahimovic misses Lorient game

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 encounter with Lorient on Friday through injury, while teammate Lucas Moura has said he hopes to end his career at the Parc des Princes.

Johnson: PSG's poor history against Lorient

Ibrahimovic, 32, has had a problem with swelling in his left knee since his return to France after the last international break, and a PSG press release said the Swede would miss the visit of struggling Lorient in order to receive treatment.

With Ibrahimovic out, Edinson Cavani will lead the PSG attack ably supported by Lucas, 21, who is beginning to take to life in the French capital following last January's move from Sao Paolo.

The Brazilian international, who has been left out of Luiz Felipe Scolari's squad for this month's friendlies with Honduras and Chile, has featured in all but one of PSG's league games to date, and though his career is only in its infancy, he told Reuters he feels he may even never play anywhere else in Europe.

“I feel really good in Paris, I'm very, very happy,” he said. “On the pitch, I feel good. I don't feel the pressure of the 40 million euro transfer on my shoulders. I want to have my career here. I don't want to leave.”
