Ronaldinho: I'd like to bow out at PSG

Ronaldinho has said he would welcome the opportunity to follow David Beckham and bring the curtain down on his career at Paris Saint-Germain.

Beckham retired from playing after a five-month spell in the French capital during which he won the Ligue 1 title.

Ronaldinho, 33, made his name in Europe at the Parc des Princes between 2001-2003 before further enhancing his reputation at Barcelona and AC Milan.

The attacking midfielder, now back in his native Brazil with Atletico Mineiro, said he would consider reprising his PSG days and told Canal + Laurent Blanc's side were "a very strong team right now -- a marvellous team".

He added: "Right now, I'm not thinking about the future. But any player would like to have the chance to finish his career at a big club like PSG."

He said he kept a close eye on his former club, where compatriot Lucas has taken his first footballing steps outside Brazil.

"He has the ability to conquer the world, thanks to his talent and his pace," Ronaldinho said of the youngster, who joined PSG from Sao Paulo in a 42 million euro move.

"He's a player that's going to win people over. Soon, the whole world will applaud him," he added.
