Hoarau set for PSG departure
Paris Saint-Germain forward Guillaume Hoarau is poised to leave the Parc des Princes, with Premier League sides Everton and Sunderland reportedly among his suitors.
Hoarau, 28, has been limited to just six league appearances this season since the summer arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and has now left the club's winter training camp in Qatar in a bid to push through a transfer.
PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti left the France international out of his squad for Wednesday's friendly with Qatari side Lekhwiya as the player had a knee injury, though he also confirmed Hoarau was "talking to a club, but there is nothing official."
Following PSG's 5-1 victory, Olivier Letang, the club's assistant director, further fanned speculation by admitting: "Guillaume's gone to Paris, I won't say anything more than that."
Cited earlier this week by sporting director Leonardo as one of five players who could leave the club during the transfer window, Hoarau has been linked to Everton and Sunderland, with the former, according to Le Parisien, already having made an offer.
The newspaper also reports Chinese club Dalian Aerbin, who signed Seydou Keita from Barcelona last summer, are also interested in the ex-Le Havre striker, whose PSG contract expires at the end of next season.
