Guingamp strike late to reach Coupe de France semifinals

Guingamp advanced to the Coupe de France semifinals on Thursday.

Claudio Beauvue produced a wonderful injury-time free kick as Ligue 1 side Guingamp survived a Coupe de France quarterfinal scare against amateurs Concarneau.

Guingamp took the lead after just three minutes when Christophe Mandanne lashed in from six yards following a badly cleared corner, but Christophe Gourmelon levelled with a mis-hit effort that looped in from 12 yards.

The underdogs gave Guingamp a serious scare in the second half at Lorient's Stade Yves Allainmat, but just as extra time beckoned,...

Paris Saint-Germain avenge weekend draw with Monaco in Coupe de France

The ESPN FC crew preview the second leg Champions League clash between Chelsea and PSG and disagree with the SPI giving Chelsea a 73% edge to advance.

Former Chelsea player David Luiz gave PSG the lead in the third minute, and striker Edinson Cavani grabbed his 18th goal of the season to make it 2-0 after 52 minutes.

The teams had met in the French league on Sunday, when PSG missed a glut of chances in a 0-0 draw which only served to highlight the absence of top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic -- who missed both games...

PSG need to take advantage of fatigued Monaco in CDF cup clash

Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco meet for the second time in three days when they tussle at Parc des Princes in the Coupe de France quarterfinals on Wednesday. The pair played out an uninspiring 0-0 draw in Ligue 1 on Sunday night, with Laurent Blanc's men failing to take top spot despite title rivals Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique de Marseille losing earlier in the weekend.

PSG dominated in terms of possession, chances created and shots on goal at Stade Louis II, but the defending French champions...
