When does the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia take place?

The opening match of the 2018 World Cup finals is due to take place at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Thursday, June 14, 2018, with the final held at the same stadium on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

The last of the 32 qualifiers will be known after the playoffs by Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017.

The draw will be made on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
