Alejandro Sabella unsure on Argentina

Alejandro Sabella has yet to make a decision on whether he will extend his stay as coach of Argentina.

Sabella's agent said earlier this month that the 59-year-old would part ways with the national side after the 2014 World Cup, where Argentina finished as runners-up to Germany.

The coach's contract expired after the conclusion of the tournament, although Sabella has not ruled out continuing to lead the country.

"I'll take the weekend and decide," Sabella told ESPN Radio en Rivadavia.

"After the break we will re-evaluate. We'll see. The team left their soul on the pitch. They played a very good World Cup.

"The doubt I have is whether I would be capable of giving all I can. If I feel that I am at 100 percent, I will stay on, if not, I cannot go against my principles.

"I am going to take a rest, and get my strength back because this has taken a toll on me, it was a great responsibility and it could be too much. We shall see.

"I always felt that I had support. I will likely call [FIFA VP Julio Grondona] soon to speak with him."
