Hector Moreno suffered a broken leg during Mexico's 2-1 loss to Netherlands, coach Miguel Herrera has confirmed.

Espanyol defender Moreno sustained the injury during the first half in Fortaleza when challenging Dutch winger Arjen Robben.
"Yes, unfortunately," Herrera said in his postmatch news conference regarding a fractured left tibia for Moreno.
"[Arjen] Robben took a shot and accidentally kicked [Moreno's] shin pad. It is a shame for Hector. He had a great tournament."
Diego Reyes replaced Moreno for the second half before Mexico took the lead through Giovani dos Santos.
But late goals from Wesley Sneijder and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar inflicted defeat on Mexico as the Dutch reached the quarterfinals.
Reflecting on the defeat, Herrera said, "We have to talk to the boys in the dressing room because they are very sad.
"It was painful to see this, and when we get back to Mexico, we will discuss what happens next. We have to reconsider things and what lies ahead for us.
"We felt that the team could get the result. Chicharito [Javier Hernandez] came in and was winning the ball. This was important for us. He drew fouls, and we felt we had the match in our hands."
Herrera was proud to have coached the players, who showed that Netherlands were vulnerable, he said.
"They were well covered by their goalkeeper, and this is how the game was," Herrera said.
