Germany attacker Miroslav Klose has said he has aiming to break Ronaldo's all-time World Cup goalscoring record.

Klose, who will have turned 36 by the time Joachim Loew's side play their first game of the tournament against Portugal, has scored 14 goals in his previous three World Cups.
The Lazio player, tied with Germany legend Gerd Mueller in second place on the all-time World Cup goals list with 14, one behind Ronaldo, told a news conference: "I am convinced that when the team plays well, the attackers will have chances to score -- and that's why I will have the chance to score.
"Anyone who knows me knows that the record is of course a goal of mine, but the most important thing is the team."
It is not yet clear what formation Loew will choose to play amid discussions in Germany about the merits of starting with a 'false nine.'
A decision to do that would mean a player such as Thomas Mueller, Mario Goetze or Marco Reus getting the chance to start in the attacking role.
"I can also play the false nine," Klose said with a smile. "In the end, it's down to the coach. I want to train hard so that there will be no way past me. I'd like to think that I'll play."
Klose has scored 68 goals in 131 games for Germany, putting him level with Mueller -- who needed only 62 caps to achieve his total.
