Alexis Sanchez will not start for Chile in their Confederations Cup opener against Cameroon as he attempts to recover from a sprained ankle.
Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi said that the Arsenal forward was a doubt after hurting his left ankle in training on Thursday.

And after only doing light work in the gym since Sanchez is out of the starting XI to take on African Nations Cup winners Cameroon in Moscow.
Copa America winners Chile are also without Claudio Bravo. The Manchester City goalkeeper has not played since suffering a calf injury in April.
