Romelu Lukaku could stay at Everton beyond next summer - Mino Raiola

Romelu Lukaku is discussing extending his stay at Everton, according to the player's agent Mino Raiola.

Lukaku, 23, was tipped to move on in the summer with Chelsea and Juventus touted as possible destinations, but he ultimately opted to remain at Goodison Park, where he could yet remain beyond the end of the season.

"We are talking, yes it is possible that he could stay," Raiola told the Daily Mail.

"This year the message was clear he was not for sale and he is really happy there at the moment. We are happy with what the club is doing now, we will see how the season goes."

Lukaku has rediscovered his form of late, scoring four goals in his last two games for Everton.

Raiola says if his client is to move on from the Toffees, only a handful of clubs would be able to afford him.

"There was talk of Juventus but no one can afford him in Italy," he said. "Outside of England, realistically the only clubs that can afford him are Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid."
