Danny Ings wants future resolved ahead of U21 Euros - sources

While Burnley defeated Hull City via a Danny Ings volley, the victory would ultimately not be enough to keep the Clarets in the Premier League.

Danny Ings' future is unlikely to be resolved in the next 10 days but the in-demand striker is expected to make a decision before the European under-21 Championships, sources have told ESPN FC.

Ings, 22, scored 11 goals in the Premier League for Burnley, including a winner in their final-day victory over Aston Villa, but announced afterwards that he would definitely leave Turf Moor.

Hoffenheim defender Jeremy Toljan has rejected Jurgen Klinsmann's approach to turn him into a U.S. national team player, and opted to play for the Germany under-21 at the upcoming European Championships instead.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek made his debut for Chelsea in December 2014.

Uncapped Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been named in the preliminary England under-21 squad for next month's European Championship.

If called to the England under-21s, Harry Kane would have only 18 days to recuperate after Spurs' tour of Malaysia and Australia.
