French police have made more than 1,000 football-related arrests since the start of Euro 2016, the country's interior minister has said.
The early stages of the tournament in France were marred by violence as fans clashed.
In June, French police arrested 36 people, and 16 were treated for injuries in the hospital after violence erupted in the streets of Lille ahead of England's match with Wales in nearby Lens.
Three Russian fans were also given prison terms for their part in violence ahead of their country's meeting with England, while 20 Russian men were deported by French authorities.
"I recall that 90,000 people were mobilised for security during the Euros, including 72,000 police officers and gendarmes," interior minister Cazeneuve told La Provence newspaper.
"They've carried out considerable work to prevent crowd disturbances.
"Since the start of the competition, the police have questioned over 1,000 people, leading to 600 people being placed in custody and 56 convictions.
"Thirty-four prefectural deportation orders were delivered, notably with regard to the hooligans responsible for the violence in Marseille on June 11."
Cazeneuve added that 90,000 people have been mobilised as part of the security measures for the tournament.
