Wales' Chris Coleman: Ashley Williams is 'fine' despite shoulder-injury scare

Wales boss Chris Coleman has said Ashley Williams is "fine" despite his shoulder-injury scare in Wales' 1-0 win over Northern Ireland.

The Group B winners will now face Belgium in the quarterfinals on Friday night in Lille, and Coleman is expecting his captain to be fit and ready for the match.

"We think it was when he fell, but he's fine," Coleman said.

"It isn't dislocated, and it would be better to say he'd play that way, but that isn't the case."

Wales' quarterfinal opponents have recovered from their opening 2-0 loss to Italy by beating Republic of Ireland and Sweden before dispatching Hungary 4-0 in their round-of-16 clash on Sunday.

But despite watching Belgium score eight goals in their last three games, Coleman's taking belief from their four most recent meetings with them, where Wales have lost just once.

"Belgium are a good team and they have players who could play for anyone," Coleman added.

"In four years we've faced them four times and won one and drawn two. We've faced all different types of opposition, our game plan has to stay the same."
