Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne will be ready at Euros - Belgium boss Wilmots

Belgium manager Marc Wilmots is confident that Eden Hazard will be in top form for Euro 2016 and that Kevin De Bruyne will be fit in time for this summer's tournament in France.

Hazard, 25, ended a 31-game goal drought at Chelsea when he scored in their 5-1 FA Cup win over MK Dons last weekend, and Wilmots expects the attacking midfielder to continue to improve before Belgium face Italy, Republic of Ireland and Sweden in June.

"He's having a difficult season with Chelsea, but in the matches with me it's been better than before," Wilmots told French radio station RMC.

"That's to say he's doing very well with the national team. And for me, the two aren't linked. A player is always dependent on the collective and if the collective is good, individualities emerge.

"What interests me is that all the players are fully fit. It's another context and when the quality is there, it's there."

De Bruyne, 24, is due to be out for 10 weeks after hurting his ankle and knee in Manchester City's 3-1 Capital One Cup semifinal victory over Everton last week.

The ex-Wolfsburg midfielder is also a key player for Belgium, a side currently top in the FIFA World Ranking.

Wilmots, 46, believes that De Bruyne has plenty of time to recover.

"He is due to return on April 15," the former Schalke midfielder told RMC. "That's very good -- it will be two months before the Euros. I don't see any problem there unless there is a relapse.

"He has a big job to do during his rehabilitation."
