Frank Leboeuf is quite critical of Portugal's defensive nature against France in the final.

SAINT-DENIS, France -- Ederzito Antonio Macedo Lopes, aka Eder, is a 28-year-old Portuguese forward. In his eight seasons as a topflight footballer, he has scored 48 league goals for four different clubs in three different countries. Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, aka Cristiano, is a 31-year-old Portuguese forward who scored 48 league goals in a single season, just two years ago.

On a muggy Sunday night in Paris, each was critical in helping Portugal win their first-ever major international...

The network said on Monday it had acquired United States English-language broadcast rights to the tournament, which will be played in 13 nations.

"The UEFA European Football Championship is one of the marquee events in international football and as fans in the U.S. continue to follow the sport overseas, the interest in this tournament will only get stronger," ESPN senior vice president Scott Guglielmino said in a...

Mourinho: Ronaldo's touchline actions 'didn't help' Portugal win Euro final

Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Anotine Griezmann have been named as nominees for this prestigious award, but who will take the plaudits?
Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane says the club will remain patient with Cristiano Ronaldo as he continues his recovery from injury.
ESPN FC's Alexis Nunes recaps the latest from social media in The Sweeper.
ESPN FC's Janusz Michallik completely agress with Didier Drogba's declaration that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to win the Ballon d'Or.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has criticised Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo for the forward's sideline behaviour during the final minutes of the Euro 2016 final between Portugal and France.

The Portugal star, who was taken out of the game early on with a knee injury, was seen manically gesticulating to his teammates. He was called out by Portugal legend Antonio Simoes and others, who suggested the actions were more about Ronaldo's own ego than actually helping the team.
