Arjen Robben wants to play alongside Bas Dost for Netherlands

The ESPN FC crew compare Arjen Robben's remarkable season to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Bayern Munch winger Arjen Robben hopes he can strike up a partnership with Wolfsburg's in-form Bas Dost for Netherlands.

Robben and Dost have both set their sights on this season's Bundesliga top-scorer prize -- the Torjagerkanone -- with the former having scored 16 goals and the latter hitting 11.

Dost's nine goals in his last five games have brought him to the attention of Netherlands coach Guus Hiddink, with the striker saying earlier this week that an international call-up would be "a dream."

England not winning Euro 2016 would be a failure, says Harry Redknapp

There is plenty of urgency for Harry Redknapp's QPR to collect points before they begin a stretch of matches against the Prem's top teams.
Harry Redknapp parted company with QPR earlier this month.

England should "give up" if they do not win Euro 2016, according to former Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp.

Redknapp believes Roy Hodgson will have sufficient talent at his disposal to claim glory at the tournament in France.

With the likes of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scoring 23 goals in all competitions this season and Liverpool duo Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge key players for their club, Redknapp said it would be a failure for the team to not at least reach the last...

Having visited all 20 Serie A clubs since becoming coach of the Italian national team last summer, Conte now wants to see how things are done in other countries, with London his first stop on a tour he hopes will provide him with new insights into the game.

"The reason for my visit is to study and to look at some of the situations...

Palermo's Franco Vazquez open to Italy callup from Antonio Conte

Franco Vazquez signed for Palermo from Belgrano in 2011.

Palermo forward Franco Vazquez says he would be delighted to receive a call from Italy coach Antonio Conte offering him a place in his next Squadra Azzurra selection.

With seven goals and eight assists so far this season, the 25-year-old has been catching the eye for the Sicilian club.

Although he was born in Argentina, his mother is from Padua and, unlike teammate Paulo Dybala, who has declared his preference to play for the country of his birth, Vazquez is open to representing Italy.

"My mum would...

Former England manager Fabio Capello believes Wayne Rooney has matured over the last 12 months, becoming a true leader for the Three Lions and Manchester United.
The RFU says Fabio Capello is in a must-win situation for Russia.

Russian Football Union president Nikolai Tolstykh said that national team coach Fabio Capello faces the sack if Russia don't make Euro 2016, according to a report.
