Sweden name preliminary squad for Euro 2000

Sweden coach Tommy Soderberg named a 20-man squad on Thursday for a friendly against Spain in Gothenburg on June 3. It will also form the basis of the squad for Euro 2000.

Sweden's first game in Group B is against co-hosts Belgium in Brussels: the opening game of the tournament.
