When Bayern Munich host Atletico Madrid Tuesday it will be one of the most inconsequential matches between great teams in history. Both sides have already secured advancement out of the Champions League group stage, and Atletico's perfect record and 15 points means that Bayern, on 9 points after a shocking loss away against Rostov last round, can't catch them. But, just because the results of the game won't change anything, that doesn't mean it isn't important.
