Manchester United given 'no indication' where Tottenham match will be played

Manchester United have "not been given any indication" where their Premier League clash with Tottenham will be played.

United are scheduled to travel to Spurs on Jan. 13 but with the move to their new stadium plagued by complications and delays, the venue is still up in the air.

A ballot for tickets for away supporters has been delayed with fans informed by email on Wednesday that the club are in the dark about where the game will take place.

"We're unable to complete the ballot today as the venue for the fixture has not yet been confirmed," read the message sent to supporters who have applied for Tottenham tickets.

"Unfortunately, we have not been given any indication when we will receive confirmation of the venue, allocation and ticket prices."

Tottenham have continued to play their home games at Wembley as construction of their new stadium on the site of White Hart Lane has dragged on.

After initially hoping to be in their new home by September, the opening date was pushed back until the new year and Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that the first fixture could be played in February rather than January.

In his last statement on the project, chairman Daniel Levy said there would be an update in early December, but that is yet to arrive.
