Which striker has the brighter future: Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku?

Romelu Lukaku critic Steve Nicol admits the Everton striker belongs in his Team of the Weekend after a brace.

The top two goal scorers in the Premier League are Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane. Lukaku is having easily the best season of his career, sitting on 23 goals after netting twice in Everton's wild 4-2 win over Leicester City. Kane, who eased his way back into the Tottenham Hotspur side in the second half of their decisive 4-0 win over Watford after an injury lay off, has 19. The two young strikers have a tremendous amount in common, despite the seeming stylistic differences in their games.

They're both pure strikers. In an era where many attackers are becoming more versatile, and the distinctions between strikers, wingers and attacking midfielders are increasingly blurring, these two are unquestionably classic line-leading forwards. Even more importantly, they're both only 23 years old. They're already atop the league, and they're just now entering their primes. The similarities, of course, demand comparison. For the next half decade, who will be the better forward, Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku?
