Chelsea's Eden Hazard sees Man City and Liverpool as title rivals

Eden Hazard has suggested Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are fighting it out for the Premier League title this season.

Chelsea are currently a point clear of Liverpool and City at the top of the table, with Arsenal a further two points behind in fourth.

The Blues' 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday leaves Mauricio Pochettino's side in fifth, seven points off the leaders, while sixth-placed Manchester United are 11 points behind after their 1-1 draw with West Ham on Sunday.

Asked if City are the team Chelsea must finish above to lift the title, Hazard told reporters: "Man City and Liverpool. They are both good. If we want to be there at the end, then we have to finish above them."

Since drawing with Swansea and then losing to Liverpool and Arsenal in September, Chelsea have won seven Premier League games in succession, with Christian Eriksen's goal on Saturday the first they have conceded in that run.

They travel to City on Saturday seeking a victory over Pep Guardiola's side that Hazard said would be a statement of intent.

"Of course it would," the Belgium international said. "We know it's always difficult to win there. They beat Burnley and they have a lot of good players -- [Sergio] Aguero and [Kevin] De Bruyne. I hope it will be a good game and if we can win there it will be good.

"We want to keep going like this and we don't want to stop now. We are full of confidence and we want to win every game."

Chelsea and Liverpool have the advantage of not featuring in European competition this season and Hazard is enjoying the additional preparation time as they bounce back from last year's hugely disappointing title defence.

"It's good," the 25-year-old said. "We have one week to prepare for the game and at the end of the week we know what to do when we play. Last year, we were just doing recovery so we weren't always ready for the game, but that's not the case now. We're concentrating on the opposition during the week and give everything."
