Allardyce now managing England charity side amid Mourinho confusion

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has said he will manage England in Sunday's Soccer Aid match at Old Trafford, amid confusion as to whether he is replacing Jose Mourinho on the touchline.

In April, it was announced that Mourinho would manage England against Claudio Ranieri's "Rest of the World" side, but the BBC reports that the new Manchester United boss has pulled out of the game.

However, the Manchester Evening News reports that the Portuguese coach is still expected to make his first appearance at Old Trafford since he was appointed as Louis van Gaal's successor.

Two teams of celebrities will meet in the sixth Soccer Aid, which raises money for Unicef.
