Premier Showdown - March 1-2

Tommy Smyth finally brought his bad run to an end last weekend when picking up all three points. That reopened his nine-point lead at the top of the table but no all hope is lost for Dale Johnson and the Rest of the World.

It's a shorter round this weekend with two fixtures falling to the Capital One Cup final, so casting their eyes over eight Premier League games is Colin Whiting who hails from Durban in South Africa.

He tells Showdown: "I was born in the Seychelles but I immigrated to South Africa during the revolution with the idea of going to live in Australia. We have since stayed and built our own exporting business very successfully.

"I am a Liverpool fan since the days of radio. I was nine years old listening on my uncle's radio to a cup tie between WBA and Liverpool. We ended coming back from two goals down to win 3-2. I have since then been a fan.

"I have travelled a lot to watched games in the UK and Europe. I am pleased with our season this year and hopefully we can move on from this great year. Thanks for the good job you guys are doing."

Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the next round of games - so get your selections in now!

Tommy takes the points again. After it looked like we had a game he has pulled away again. Is there a way back for Dale or the ROTW?
