Wolfsburg 'lead queue for De Bruyne'

Wolfsburg are leading the chase for Chelsea midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, whose agent revealed that he has become frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities in London.

Kevin de Bruyne has been linked with a move to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
De Bruyne could be poised for a return to Germany.

Belgium international De Bruyne, 22, has agreed terms with Wolfsburg, but the Bundesliga club and Chelsea are yet to agree on a transfer fee -- with the Telegraph reporting that the Blues could demand up to 30 million euros.

With the World Cup in Brazil on the horizon, the midfielder knows he needs regular football if he is to win a place in Marc Wilmots' starting lineup.

He impressed for Werder Bremen during a loan spell in 2012-13 and now wants to be reunited with his former sporting director Klaus Allofs, now at Wolfsburg.

"Wolfsburg are capable of doing the transfer. They have the spending power and a convincing sporting plan," De Bruyne's agent, Patrick de Koster, told Belgian paper La Derniere Heure. "Kevin wants one thing: to frequently play.”

De Koster said Borussia Moenchengladbach, Schalke, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid and Malaga were also interested in De Bruyne’s services -- but only on a loan basis.
