Januzaj: Moyes 'will win trophies'

Manchester United attacker Adnan Januzaj believes manager David Moyes will bring success to Old Trafford.

Adnan Januzaj is still to make a decision on his international future.
Adnan Januzaj has backed David Moyes for success at Manchester United.

• Mitten: Striking situation

Moyes has yet to ignite his career as Red Devils boss with the club languishing eighth in the Premier League, 10 points behind leaders Arsenal.

However, the former Everton boss has guided United out of the Champions League group stages -- drawn to play Olympiakos in the round of 16 -- and Januzaj said Moyes is the right man to continue the club’s run of success.

"He will win trophies," Januzaj told MUTV. "Don't forget, it is a new coach. Everything is new. You have to give it time.

"I think he is a good coach. All the players are ready to work hard as well and everything will come."

And the 18-year old, recently rewarded with a five-year contract extension for his bright start to the season, believes United is the perfect environment to continue his development.

"I am happy here," he added.

"When I moved to Manchester I wanted to play with the first team. Now I want to stay here, play for a long time if I can and be the best player I can be."
