Premier Showdown - November 9-10

A superb performance from Dale Johnson last weekend as he levelled the highest score of the last two seasons (13) -- he could even have beaten it but failed to get a point from Sunday's matches. All of the sudden the ROTW have got themselves cut adrift!

We're staying in England for the next round of games, though via a guest from Australia. Welcome, George Beale.

Showdown is told: "Hi, my name is George and I've been living in Australia for the last 20 years after having lived in England for 24 years. I'm currently back in England for a year to spend some time with my mum and hopefully get some work to support my stay.

"I'm 54 and have been a Tottenham supporter since 1969. My family first lived in Stamford Hill, after having emigrated from Burma. We moved to Walthamstow a year later and my mum is still living in Walthamstow after 42 years."

Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on  ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

We want your entries for the first weekend of the season - so get your selections in now!

Dale Johnson is on roll right now as two more correct scorelines take him to victory - and he joins Tommy at the top of the table.
