Premier Showdown - November 2-3
Tommy returned to form last weekend - but he only just sneaked to victory by a point. But that still means he has opened up a healthy six-point gap at the top.
We're making a rare trip to Scandinavia this weekend, and our competitor is Mikkel Steenstrup Emborg.
Mikkel tells Showdown: "Hello, I'm from Copenhagen in Denmark. I am a big fan of the Premier League and especially Manchester United.. I work at the Danish transport autority as a project manager, and I am 39 years old"
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on ESPN FC TV's Tommy Smyth and ESPN FC journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
- Three points for a correct result and scoreline
- One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
We want your entries for the first weekend of the season - so get your selections in now!
A superb performance from Dale who levels the highest score of the last two seasons - but couldn't get a point on Sunday to eclipse that total. All of the sudden the ROTW have got themselves cut adrift.
