Alvaro Negredo to unleash 'the Beast'
Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo has urged the club’s supporters to hail him as ‘the Beast’.

Negredo, 28, who signed for City from Sevilla in the summer for £20 million, was branded ‘the Beast of Vallecas’ in his homeland of Spain.
And after setting up two goals in the 4-1 Manchester derby win on Sunday, he hopes it is not long until his new club's supporters refer to him using the same nickname.
“It's a nickname I like. It was given to me while I was playing in Spain so I hope they can call me that over here as well,” Negredo told the Manchester Evening News.
"Hopefully the way I played against United will convince them to do it. I will be happy if they do.
"I always enjoy a physical battle. As long as opponents play fair it's not a problem to me because I'm always ready for the challenge."
Negredo, who has scored twice in his brief City career, enjoyed his first taste of the Manchester derby.
He added: “It was a very beautiful day for this club -- we were very happy and it will give us a lot of confidence going forward into the next Premier League games.”
