Reds target Lovren may stay at Lyon
Dejan Lovren has stated he is "not in a hurry to leave Lyon" amid reports that Liverpool are lining up a bid for him.
Suitors have reportedly been circling Lovren since the Croatia centre-back fell out of favour at OL after an interview with Sportske Novosti in which he criticised the club.
With Lyon looking to fill a €25 million-sized hole in their budget in the upcoming transfer window, they could look to cash-in on Lovren, though the former Dinamo Zagreb does not necessarily see his future elsewhere.
"Every player wants to go to a big club. I'm under contract to 2016, but anything can happen. Having said that, I'm not in a hurry to leave Lyon,"
Lovren told Croatian website tportal.hr, adding that he did not regret the earlier interview, which appeared in April, that may have ended his OL career.
"I said what was in my heart. My interview made certain people uncomfortable, but it was my choice and I don't regret my words."
