QPR's Faurlin set for Palermo loan move
Queens Park Rangers have given midfielder Alejandro Faurlin permission to speak to Italian club Palermo about a possible loan move, according to the Press Association.
Faurlin, 26, has featured intermittently for Rangers under the management of Harry Redknapp, and was a substitute in Tuesday’s 0-0 Loftus Road draw against champions Manchester City.
But it now appears he could be moving to Serie A for the remainder of the season, although it appears unlikely that the switch will be made permanent.
Redknapp has shaken up his squad, currently at the bottom of the Premier League, in this transfer window, bringing in Loic Remy, Tal Ben Haim and Yun Suk-Young.
Anton Ferdinand, Djibril Cisse and Rob Hulse are among players who have beeh allowed to go out on loan, while defender Ryan Nelsen is set to leave on February 1 to become full-time head coach of MLS club Toronto FC.
