Griezmann, Alexis, Cahill, Fellaini: Where will they be playing in February?

The transfer merry-go-round is in full swing! But, where will some of football's biggest stars be playing once the January window slams shut? Here's a look:

Antoine Griezmann

With their transfer ban over, and Diego Costa and Vitolo already added to their ranks, La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are spoilt for choice in the front third.

The fact that Atleti boss Diego Simeone can call on the likes of Costa and Vitolo as well as Fernando Torres, Angel Correa, Kevin Gameiro, Yannick Carrasco and Antoine Griezmann in attack means that someone is surely going to miss out on plenty of game-time.

The latter, 26-year-old Griezmann, certainly won't be the one to be benched, but the Rojiblancos may think that January is the right time to cash-in on their prized asset.

The France international will almost certainly leave in the summer -- with sources telling ESPN FC that he prefers a move to Barcelona over Manchester United -- but with a number of clubs flush with cash that situation could change quickly.

Unibet Odds: Atletico ($1.03) Man Utd ($8.00) Barca ($10.00)

Alexis Sanchez

Speaking of situations changing quickly, Chelsea are the latest side rumoured to be interested in signing wantaway Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

The Chile international had one arm in the sleeve of a Manchester City jersey, but moves this week from both Manchester United and the Blues mean that Alexis' future is far from certain.

Sky Sports reports that "Antonio Conte rates the forward highly," and with all the ill-feeling that exists between the Chelsea boss and his United counterpart Jose Mourinho, this transfer tug-of-war appears to be about more than just the talents of the Arsenal man.

With so many twists and turns in Alexis' transfer saga, one wouldn't be surprised if there is one more sting in the tail. Watch this space.

Unibet Odds: Man Utd ($1.28) Chelsea ($4.00) Arsenal ($5.00)

Sanchez to United?
Manchester United desperately need some more firepower up front.

Tim Cahill

Tim Cahill is still searching for a new club, more than a month on from leaving Melbourne City.

A deal with former club Millwall had been mooted by the Sun this week, but the Championship side have moved quickly to deny the speculation.

Could a return to the Chinese Super League be on the cards? Or maybe linking up with Ange Postecoglou at Yokohama F. Marinos in the J-League?

Either way, the longer Cahill goes without a club, the less likely a spot at the 2018 World Cup will be for the 38-year-old. It would be an unfortunate end to an otherwise legendary Socceroos career.

Unibet Odds: Millwall ($1.40) A J-League club ($2.20) A CSL club ($4.00)

Marouane Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini was substituted on for the final 10 minutes of Manchester United's 3-0 win over Stoke on Monday, but speculation persists that the big Belgium international won't be at Old Trafford for too much longer.

The 30-year-old flagged in December that he does not know if he will stay at United even if the club make him another contract offer.

West Ham have been touted as a possible destination by the Daily Star, but more likely is a move to Besiktas in Turkey. Senol Gunes' side have money to spend after selling Cenk Tosun to Everton, and are looking to shore up their midfield ahead of their Champions League round-of-16 battle with Bayern Munich.

Unibet Odds: Man Utd ($1.10) Besiktas ($7.50) West Ham ($11.00)
