FA Cup draw: Chelsea book date with Newcastle United in fourth round

Chelsea's penalty win over Norwich City in their third-round replay at Stamford Bridge has earned them another FA Cup home tie, this time against Newcastle United.

Cardiff City cruised past Mansfield Town to book a glamour match-up against Premier League leaders Manchester City, while Leicester's win over Fleetwood Town means they will now go to another League One side, Peterborough United.

West Ham needed extra time to get past Shrewsbury Town, and will now be away to Wigan, who cruised past Premier League opponents Bournemouth in another of the midweek replays. Another tie was confirmed midweek as Sheffield Wednesday and Reading beat Carlisle United and Stevenage respectively to set up a tie at Hillsborough.

Swansea were the other team to get through at the second attempt, ousting Wolves to earn a trip to League Two club Notts County.

Another League Two side, Yeovil Town, will play at home to Manchester United for the second time in four seasons.

Liverpool are at home against West Brom and Southampton face Watford at St Mary's. The 1987 FA Cup winners Coventry's reward for ousting Stoke in the third round is a trip to League One outfit MK Dons.

Nottingham Forest, who knocked holders Arsenal out on Sunday and announced the appointment of Aitor Karanka as their new manager on Monday, visit Hull, the side the Gunners beat in the 2014 final. Millwall meet Rochdale and Preston travel to South Yorkshire for a date with Sheffield United.

The ties will be played on the weekend of Jan. 26-28.
