FA Cup draw: West Ham host Man City as Man United face Reading

Manchester City will travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham in the FA Cup as clubs from the top two divisions enter the competition in the third round.

Holders Manchester United will host Championship side Reading, managed by former Red Devils defender Jaap Stam, after the draw took place on Monday.

Premier League leaders Chelsea will host the winners of a replay between Peterborough United and Notts County.

Arsenal will face Preston North End away, while Tottenham got a home draw against Aston Villa.

The West Ham-Man City tie is one of four between two top-flight clubs, as Hull will host Swansea, Everton host Leicester City, and Sunderland host Burnley.

Last season's runners-up Crystal Palace head to Bolton, Southampton travel to Norwich and Bournemouth face a trip to Millwall.

Middlesbrough welcome Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke host Wolves and West Brom were drawn at home to Derby.

The romance of the cup was in short supply with Stourbridge, the seventh-tier club, heading to Wycombe if they can get past their rearranged second-round clash with Northampton.

The winners of the nonleague replay between Halifax and Eastleigh will travel to Championship side Brentford while Sutton United will host League One's AFC Wimbledon. Sutton's fellow team fifth-tier club Barrow are at home to League One's Rochdale.

Ties to be played the weekend of Jan. 7:
