Wenger: Chelsea too far in front (0:57)

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Chelsea will not be caught in the Premier League title race, ahead of his side's trip to Newcastle on Saturday. (0:57)

Two of the biggest matches of the season will take place simultaneously next month when the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Chelsea kicks off 10 minutes after Arsenal's FA Cup semifinal against Reading.

The Football Association announced on Thursday that the first semifinal at Wembley between the Gunners and Steve Clarke's men will take place at 5.20 p.m. local time on Saturday, April 18 and be broadcast live on BBC One.

That sees it go head-to-head with Sky Sports' evening kick-off between Chelsea and United, due to start at 5.30 p.m.

The second semifinal between Aston Villa and either Blackburn or Liverpool will be screened by BT Sport 1 on Sunday, April 19 with a 3 p.m. kick-off.

The afternoon kick-off will be welcomed by fans having to travel back to the north west and midlands on Sunday evening.

Arsenal, Reading and Villa have all been allocated 31,500 tickets for the semifinals with further details to be released following the quarterfinal replay on April 8.
