Bobby Duncan scores as England beat Norway to reach Euro U17 semis

Xavier Amaechi is mobbed after scoring England's second goal.
England U17 players celebrate after scoring a goal against Norway in the Euro 2018 quarterfinals.

Bobby Duncan inspired England Under-17s into the Euro 2018 semifinals after a 2-0 win over Norway.

The Manchester City forward, linked to Liverpool, scored the opener and set up Arsenal's Xavier Amaechi for the second in Burton on Sunday.

They will play either Netherlands or Ireland on Thursday after Duncan's 14th-minute opener and Amaechi's cool finish.

Boss Steve Cooper won the Under-17 World Cup last summer and is on the brink of a second major title in less than a year.
