Defender Chris Smith set Stirling on their way to a 3-1 victory over Montrose.
The Binos took the lead in the second minute when Smith got on the end of Daniel Ashe's cross to nod past Stuart McKenzie from close range.
The visitors hit back in the 16th minute when Bryan Deasley steered the ball into the bottom corner of David Crawford's net.
The hosts regained their lead four minutes after the break when Jordan White bundled in from close range after good work from Phil Johnston and Mark Ferry.
Stirling substitute Alex Cunningham added his side's third in the 78th minute when he rifled the ball into the back of the net from the middle of the box.
