Templeton worry for Rangers

David Templeton is an injury concern for Rangers ahead of their home clash with Clyde.

The tricky winger limped off midway through the second half of Saturday's 6-2 win at Elgin holding his hamstring.

Robbie Crawford came on in his place and could be handed a more prominent role if Templeton fails to make it.

Boss Ally McCoist was full of praise for youngsters Kyle Hutton and Lewis Macleod following their sparkling second half at Borough Briggs and they should also be involved.

Emilson Cribari returned after a calf problem and showed no ill effects, while Sebastien Faure has recovered from a hernia problem but did not make the bench on Saturday.

Clyde face Rangers in the league for the first time since October 1974 without two key players.

A back injury will keep defender David Marsh on the sidelines, while a calf problem keeps striker Stefan McCluskey idle as well.

Bully Wee boss Jim Duffy's message to his players is a simple one, as he said: ``When we played Rangers at our place we gave a good account of ourselves, despite losing 2-0.

``All I am asking the boys to do again is put a shift in that they are proud of.

``We are a young side and playing in front of a massive crowd will be a great experience for them. One thing that they always do is work hard and I'm sure they will do that at Ibrox.''
