Swansea permitted Getafe to complete the deal, subject to international clearance, though Montero will remain on Getafe's books, according to a statement from Swansea.

FC Dallas loans out injured DP Anibal Chala before debut in MLS

FC Dallas have loaned Anibal Chala to LDU Quito for the remainder in 2017, hoping to have him healthy and ready for 2018.
Walker Zimmerman talks about FC Dallas' unbeaten start in MLS and what to expect against NYCFC's potent attack.
Oscar Pareja breaks down the challenges FC Dallas face when they host New York City FC at the weekend.

FC Dallas loaned out one of its new designated players on Friday, before Anibal Chala ever played a game for the MLS club.

Fernando Zampedri scored as Atletico Tucuman used kits borrowed from the Argentina U20 side after they arrived at their Copa Libertadores match without their luggage.

Atletico Tucuman on Tuesday beat El Nacional of Ecuador, 1-0, in the return leg of the second round of Copa Libertadores on Tuesday despite being more than an hour-and-a-half late for the kickoff in Quito and wearing kits and boots borrowed from the Argentina under-20 team.

The Argentina side saw their flight delayed nearly three hours in Guayaquil because their chartered flight to Quito did not have clearance to fly with passengers.

After they boarded yet a second plane and the flight finally landed...

Independiente Del Valle play Copa Lib final, league game on same day

Pablo Repetto
Pablo Repetto's Independiente Del Valle could pull off the rare feat of winning two matches in a single day.

While many managers like to moan about scheduling and having to play on two or three days' rest, those complaints pale in comparison to what Independiente Del Valle boss Pablo Repetto is dealing with on Wednesday.

The upstart Ecuadorians, who eliminated both River Plate and Boca Juniors, are in the final of the Copa Libertadores and will face Colombia's Atletico Nacional in the first leg on Wednesday night.

So one would think that the folks who run and schedule Ecuador's Serie A would be inclined...
