Hector Moreno slammed for another injury tackle - 'He knows what he did'

Hector Moreno has been accused of making a "disgraceful" tackle by Heracles forward Oussama Tannane less than a week after a challenge which left Luke Shaw with a double-leg break.

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Moreno broke the right leg of Manchester United defender Shaw in a collision during the Dutch side's 2-1 Champions league victory last Tuesday.

The Mexico international was involved in another controversial incident during PSV's 2-1 defeat at Heracles on Saturday, with a late challenge from Moreno forcing Tannane to be replaced with 15 minutes to go.

Moreno went unpunished for the challenge on Tannane, who criticised the Mexican for his latest tackle as well as the incident with Shaw.

"He came with his outstretched leg on to my knee. If that's not a card, I don't know what is," the Daily Mail reports Tannane as telling De Telegraaf.

"I do not know if it was conscious, but he was just too late. I thought it was a disgraceful offence. Moreno also knows what he did last week."

Shaw returned to Manchester late last week having been in a Dutch hospital since Tuesday's match, undergoing surgery in a bid to aid a recovery process which is expected to last six months.

Former Old Trafford captain Roy Keane has defended Moreno by saying the defender produced "a brilliant challenge," while Moreno -- who has since apologised to Shaw -- said he believed he made a fair effort to win the ball.

Juan Mata has backed his young teammate to return "stronger" after dedicating United's victory at Southampton on Sunday to the injured defender.
