Feyenoord keeper Brad Jones in line for Australia recall

Feyenoord fans lit up their phones and sang "You'll Never Walk Alone" to honour Brad Jones' son, Luca, on the sixth anniversary of his death.

A Socceroos recall could finally be on the cards for Brad Jones with coach Bert van Marwijk confirming he's spoken with the Feyenoord goalkeeper.

Jones, who has four caps, was overlooked throughout Ange Postecoglou's tenure despite discovering excellent form in the Dutch Eredivisie.

It was a situation that surprised Dutchman Van Marwijk, who has given a strong indication the 35-year-old is in contention for next month's pre-World Cup friendlies with Norway and Colombia.

Frank de Boer said Inter Milan players plotted his downfall last season by ignoring him.

De Boer was sacked after just three months as Inter coach last season and he has blamed a group of players for plotting his downfall by ignoring his commands.

"It was complicated in Italy -- not just for the language, but also for the way I transmitted my messages and my ideas," he told Ziggo...

Former Barcelona forward Patrick Kluivert says his son Justin is likely to play in La Liga someday, but has advised the 18-year-old to keep developing at Ajax.

Six goals in 19 Eredivisie games this season for the Amsterdam side, as well as a repertoire of dazzling tricks on the ball, has seen Kluivert Jr. linked with a move to one of Europe's elite, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all reportedly keen on him.

Ajax's Amin Younes might not join Napoli this summer

Amin Younes appears to be having second thoughts about joining Napoli in the summer after telling Dutch media that he does not know whether he will be joining the Serie A club.

Younes was in Naples last month after undergoing a medical in Rome and, according to the club's president Aurelio De Laurentiis, he signed a contract valid from July, but turned down the chance to join the Partenopei in the winter transfer window due to personal reasons.

However, he now appears unsure about whether he...
