D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid training with Swansea - report

D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid is training with English Premier League side Swansea City, according to the Washington Post.

The Post reported that Hamid is training with the club "informally" for the next week or two.

The two teams have a common owner in Jason Levien, and Swansea are managed by former United States manager Bob Bradley.

Injuries have hampered the 2014 Goalkeeper of the Year in recent seasons. He missed the first 12 games of the 2016 campaign due to offseason knee surgery, but returned to play 21 of the last 23 league and playoff matches.
